Goooooooal! Manchester City will go head to head with Juventus on Nov. 25. These two soccer powerhouses will meet for an epic match in the Champions League and HollywoodLife.com wants you to see ever heart-pounding moment. Click to watch!
Are you ready for some world class soccer? Its time for some classic football action between two of the best squads around. Manchester City will take the flight to meet Juventus on their home turf for a Champions League match. Will the Brits secure the win for their Group, or will Juventus be victorious? There’s only one way to find out!
Man City will face Juve at the Juventus Stadium in Turin, Pidmont, Italy. La Zebre are looking to send The Sky Blues back to Britain with a loss, but Man City didn’t fly all the way over to Italy to give up so easily. The action kicks off at 2:45 p.m. EST, so be sure you’re ready to see this incredible match between some of soccer’s best.
This epic match is between last season’s Premier League Champions (that would be Manchester City) and the Italian League Series A Champs (that, of course, would be Juventus.) For those who don’t know, the Champions League lives up to its name, as it takes the best soccer teams from last season – no matter what league – and pits them together in a tournament that is literally “the best of the best.”
Unfortunately, Man City will be without six senior players for this match, reports the BBC. Defenders Eliaquim Mangala, Pablo Zabaleta and Vincent Kompany could not make the trip. Neither could midfielders Samir Nasri and David Silva, and striker Wilfried Bony.
“We had a difficult situation,” said manager Manuel Pellegrini of the missing members from the squad. “It’s a test to win in a difficult stadium against a strong team.” Currently, City is ahead of Juventus by a point in Group D. A victory in Turin will give Man City the win for the group and allow them to move on to the next stage.
But, last time Man City met Juventus, they lost 2-1. After all, Juventus F.C. is the third oldest club in Italy and they are usually at the top of their Division. They’re prestigious! However, Man City has won the last three Champions league matches. Will Man City get revenge for their August lost against Juventus? Or do the Italians have the Sky Blues’ number?
Who do you think is going to win, HollywoodLifers? Are you rooting for Manchester City or for Juventus?
