How to Install an Outdoor Motion Sensor Light

Motion sensor lights will add some security to your property as well as light areas you need access to after dark.

Supplies:

  • Drill
  • Wire Tester
  • Electrical Tape
  • Caulk
  • Light Fixture & Bulbs

Step-by-Step

  1. Shut off power & remove old fixture.
  2. Install new bracket.
  3. Make electrical connections.
  4. Secure fixture to bracket, then install bulb covers & bulbs.
  5. Restore power.
  6. Caulk around base of fixture.

This easy project will only take about an hour and cost around $35.
